How we are making your payments even more secure with Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)

Keeping your payment details secure is our highest priority. Along with businesses throughout Europe and beyond we are changing to use SCA to help improve payment security. The deadline for this is 14 March 2022, but we wanted to improve our security as soon as we could. Most of our customers choose to provide their card payments to us in a secure form provided by our payment partner UTP. No payment is taken at this point (it is a zero charge). After our treasures have done some work for you we charge the card provided. After further work is done we charge again. It's a bit like opening a tab at a restaurant. To meet SCA requirements we have turned on something called 3DS. Because of this, when customers initially provide their card details they will normally go through to another form provided by their bank. This will ask for additional details to confirm it is you and not a fraudster.

If you provided your payment card details before 3 March 2022, when we try to take a payment it will fail. We will send you an email explaining the failure with a link to provide your card details again using our UTP form. Simply complete the form and provide any additional information your bank requires. We will then automatically try and take the payment again later in the day or early the next day. This should now succeed. Any subsequent charges against your card should then succeed.
